Chard

 

If you have never had Chard, don’t worry!  We serve this chard bake to our visitors who are afraid of greens and we have never heard a complaint.  

Chard Cheese Bake

1 bag of Swiss Chard

Cook the Swiss chard in a couple of inches of salted water until
tender, maybe 5 minutes.
Chop Swiss chard.

4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup Swiss or other cheese in your fridge, shredded
1 cup cubed bread
½ cup onions
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Combine above ingredients with cooked Swiss chard. Pour into a
greased 2 quart baking dish. Cover and bake in preheated oven at
375 degrees until set, 25 to 30 minutes.
